Write anything you like, one line per facet of the base. The first line gets the biggest facet; shorter lines and a bigger piece give bigger letters, though on the finished base they can differ a little. This base has 13 facets for lines; the finished one may have a few more or fewer.

Yes, as a likeness, not an exact trace, because we round the line and thicken it into a band that stands on a desk. On the 160 mm piece shown here, the band sits about 6 mm from the traced path on average, and 17 mm at most.
One swing face-on, with the phone square to the chest, and one from behind the hands, looking down the target line; two separate swings in the same session are fine. Keep the phone still at hip height, in landscape with no zoom, and use 60 fps or slow motion if it has it.
